Claims Examiner/Reviewer


Job Description

  • Remote Work From Home
  • Training is 2-3 weeks from 8am-4pm
  • After training they will work 8-4 (7.5 hours a day). As long as they get their full 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, there is some flexibility.
  • 4 Month Project- they will review after 1st quarter to determine if an extension is needed.


  • 2-3 Week period
  • 8am-4pm M-F - 2, 15-minutes breaks and 30 min lunch
  • Remote virtual training
  • Will include web based modules
  • Mainly instructor lead learning systems & product understanding
  • Shadowing & listening to calls with existing representatives
  • They have big matter experts to support employees with anything they need help with
  • Hands on training going over the complaint and solving it.

Claims Reviewer Details

  • Completely Remote work
  • NOT a call center role
  • This is a sales call complaint handling role (they will NOT be speaking to people over the phone though)
  • They will listen to sales calls & receive sales call-related complaints
  • Working with multiple lines of Prudential business such as Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and Medicare Plans, MEDICARE is the biggest portion, experience in this would be great.
  • Determine if the complaint is substantiated / legit
  • Investigating, analyzing, and validating sales call complaint claims from start to finish
  • Very little direct contact except via email when needed

Claims Reviewer Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Listening skills
  • Knowledge of Outlook & Excel
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Must be organized

Ideal Candidate 

  • They love to see insurance backgrounds of any kind, but this is not required at all. Medicare is great 
  • Claims, even medical can work. Back office/admin roles.
  • Would definitely consider an eager college grad looking to get experience
